| yeah that's a good exemple viz i have another one here notice how the ball bounces, it goes up quickly then slows down and down till it stops for a little while

| That example isn't ideal, the ball bounces maybe a little too much, but that doesn't really matter. But at one point it bounces and then the next bounce is higher than the previous bounce, which doesn't make sense. But yeah, that's the basic idea.

The character reacts realistically when something interacts with him/her.
For example, a punch, a kick.
Force is how much force an action carries, you, as an animator, must convey how forceful something is(A punch, whatever) and then the reactant must react accordingly. You can't convey a powerful punch and then have the reactant only move back an inch without reacting in a realistic way.

Look at the 7th bounce(I think), it bounces higher than the 6th bounce.
