That came out of no where! What happened to Samurai?
And the lower inner part doesn't have much quality compared to that of upper part. And that label is too light make it a bit dark. I think I like the upper part the most, has good quality.

Still working on it.

Quality loss due to converting it to an image file.

Oh, the label is bright because there's a spot light shining on it, maybe I'll lower the intensity.

...Wut, it's not a floor, I simply put the bottle inside of a cube so that I could use lighting.

Also, it's a cube, it's supposed to be flat.

I like the first model a lot. Its got a very unique design and looks like something right out of final fantasy 7 or star ocean. I've got nothing against your samurai design, I'm sure once you've finalized it its going to look pretty nice, but I'm just not feeling it as much as the first sword. Good luck on the project man. Keep posting for feedback.

Edit: Didn't know there was a page 2 so this message may seem like it just appears out of nowhere o_O.

No, it's a normal post.

Maybe because it is from Final Fantasy.

It needs some work.

Mainly proportional work + extensive detailing and texture.

I know what a cube is -.-
I'm asking why put inside a cube? When you can put it on a table or something.

Because I didn't want to model a table.

Creating a cube takes little more than 1 click of the mouse.

Samurai is complete, the video squeezed the model down slightly, so it looks a little thinner than it actually is.

Those swords are too bent and the edges of the sword don't look sharp
Why does the part near the handle look like a gear or something?
Oh and the rest is good

Lol'd.

1. Nodachis are meant to bend like that.

2. It's in a sheathe, you cannot even see the blade.

Why not?

Guards/tsubas can have any design I choose.

It looks awkward though but since it's your creation, doesn't matter.
