That hand itself looks weird because the hands are not bent at the correct joint

Eh...What does it matter everyone on Cs thinks it sucks, so its dump.

I'm not even going to bother fixing it.

Don't think in that way, every sprite is rubbish if it's not fixed

If you fix this it will look good and after all it's a unique sprite!

Not if they get it right the first time. But even if a good spriter doesn't get it perfect the first time, it doesn't mean that the sprite's rubbish.

But yeah, this sprite is bad.

Yea, it means he needs to edit it, just like Blade's sprite (even though he's not an expert in spriting)
Try to make some changes and keep experimenting with the sprite

Yes really. The anatomy, proportions, outline, shading and detail are all totally messed up.
